Super F League (known then as Kansas City Futsal League) was founded in 1997 with 5 teams. In 2004, the league was renamed to Super F League. In addition to the league in Kansas City, Boston and St. Louis became part of the Super F League. At that time, those leagues were among the largest youth futsal leagues in the Unites States and still are today!
In 2005, the Super F League held its first National Futsal Tournament. It has been consistently the largest National Youth futsal tournament in the country. In 2009, the Cup was the largest youth futsal tournament in the country (U18 and younger).
Super F League is the only national futsal organization that is affiliated with US Soccer. All players are registered with US Soccer through Unites States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA). USSSA registers players in 12 sports.
Our philosophy on growth of the game is simple. Super F League offers amateur soccer players an opportunity to play organized futsal in local leagues. It does so by supporting entrepreneurial - minded soccer organizers with hands-on guidance in building their local leagues. Super F currently has over 30 leagues in cities all over the country

Leadership Team
Jon Parry
Jon Parry was a member of the 1996 United States Futsal Team that played in the World Championship in Spain and the 1998 team that played in the Brazilian Olympics.
Jon played professional indoor soccer for eight years and scored over 400 goals in his professional career. He was an All-Star four times. In 1992-93 he led the Kansas City Attack to their first National Professional Soccer League (NPSL) championship.
Jon also played for five years in the Continental Indoor Soccer League (CISL) with the Sacramento Knights where he is the leading scorer in Knights franchise history with 127 goals and 84 assists.
In college, Jon Parry was a three-time NAIA All-American at Rockhurst where he led the Hawks to three straight National Tournaments and two Final Four Appearances. He holds the Rockhurst College NAIA school record for goals in a career with 93.
Besides his professional playing portfolio, Parry has over 15 years of coaching and camp experience. Jon most recently was the Men's and Women's Head Soccer Coach at Saint Mary College in Leavenworth, Kansas from 1999-2004.
Jon is currently the Director of Juniors for the Blue Valley Soccer Club in Overland Park, Kansas and was recently named the Kansas City Wizards Juniors Director of Coaching.
Peter Vermes
Peter grew up in New Jersey, attended Delran High School and Rutgers University where he earned All – American honors at both levels. From 1988 to 1998, he was recognized as a National Team Player and Team Captain.
During this time he was also member of: The 1988 US Olympic Team (awarded “1988 US Olympic Player of the Year” and “1988 US Soccer Male Athlete of the Year”); The 1989 FUTSAL World Cup Team (winning the Bronze Medal); The 1990 US World Cup Team (Italy) and the 1991 CONCACAF Gold Cup (Gold Medal).
Upon completion of his college career, Peter began his professional career in the American Professional Soccer League (APSL) and then went on to play in Hungary, Holland and Spain. He returned to the United States to play Major League Soccer (MLS) for the NY/NJ MetroStars, Colorado Rapids and Kansas City Wizards. In 2000 the Kansas City Wizards won the MLS Cup and he was named “MLS Defender of the Year”. He retired from his professional career in 2003. In 2005 he was privileged to serve as an Assistant Coach for the U20 Men’s National Team which competed at the FIFA U20 Youth World Championships in Holland.
Currently, Peter is a member of the USSF Executive Committee, USSF Board of Directors, and Chairman of the Athlete Council and a board member of the US Soccer Foundation. He holds a USSF “A” License and is the Executive/Technical Director of the Blue Valley Soccer Club.
Peter is also the Technical Director for Major League Soccer’s Kansas City Wizards, a position that he has held since December of 2006.
Lucio Aleixo Filho
Lucio Aleixo Filho received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mercer University in 2002 and his master's degree in business administration from University of Saint Mary in 2004.
He was a two-year goalkeeper on the men’s soccer team at Mercer University, earning first-team All-Atlantic Sun Conference honors as a Junior in 2000. Filho posted a 0.92 goals against average in 2001, helping the Bears advance to their first-ever NCAA Division 1 National tournament.
Prior to his collegiate career, Lucio played Futsal for several years in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. He was a part of the adult squad of Arsenal-Texaco Club at the age of 16, and finished third in the state championship during the 1996 season. Lucio also was the Men's and Women's Head Soccer Coach at University of Saint Mary during the 2004/2005 season.
John Sciore
John Sciore was a member of the Florissant Valley Community College National Championship team in 1974. As captain of the 1976 Rockhurst University soccer team, he led the Hawks to the NAIA National Finals
John graduated from Rockhurst in 1977 and started a financial planning practice with IDS Financial Services, later to become American Express Financial Services. At the age of 30, he became one of the youngest Division Vice-Presidents in company history.
In 2003, John became active in futsal by opening the Gateway Futsal League in St. Louis, MO. In 2005, he affiliated his league with Super F. In the last 2 years, Gateway Super F has had over 200 teams in its winter youth league, making it one of the largest youth leagues in the country
In 2008, John was the tournament director of the Super F Champions Cup, the Super F National Futsal Championships
John’s role as National Director of Development is to carry out the mission of Super F League, to develop and expand the game of Futsal in the United States. John’s experience as a soccer player, businessman, entrepreneur and futsal league owner brings extensive knowledge of all aspects of building and maintaining a futsal league
History
The SFL leadership team has over 30 years of experience in running futsal leagues. This experience is from actually doing the work of organizing, marketing, and day to day operations of managing futsal leagues and tournaments.

Kansas City Super F League – 240 teams in one session
Cleveland Super F League - 2 sessions of over 200 teams per session in their 2nd year
In-Soccer Boston Super F League - 2 sessions of over 150 teams per session
Gateway Futsal St. Louis Super F League – 170 teams in one session
Dallas Super F League – 70 teams in their 2nd year
The Super F Champions Cup - National Futsal Tournament, has been the largest youth futsal tournament in the U.S. for many years
Over 30 Leagues - the aggressive expansion of Super F League during 2008 and 2009, has brought on 22 new leagues. SFL now has over 30 leagues across the country.
