Futsal is the indoor version of association football (soccer) that is officially sanctioned by football's international governing body, the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). Its name is derived from the Portuguese futebol de salão, and the Spanish fútbol sala, both of which mean hall football.
Futsal is played between two teams of five players, one of which is the goalkeeper; in addition each team may have a number of substitutes. Unlike some other forms of indoor football, the field is delimited by lines, and not nets or boards which the ball may be played off. The ball used tends to be heavier so promotes better ball control skills as well as passing on the ground. Furthermore the smaller area of play further forces players to improve their skills and decision making.

What: SJ Elite Super F League
When: December 15, 2008 - March 8, 2009.Games will be played on Saturday mornings and weeknights.Schedule will be released in November
Who: All Club teams, Premier teams, and Futsal Academy teams (U8-U18 boys and girls) looking for great competition. Each team is guarenteed 10 games*
Why: Futsal is an excellent method of learning good foot skills, movement off the ball, speed of play, 1v1 skills, defending and combination play.
How Much: $650.00 per team.

Teams will be required to register by check or credit card.Fees will include insurance for players through US Soccer.US Club Soccer and US Youth Soccer passes are not valid for the SJ Elite Super F League. For more information on the registration process, click here.

Super F League Announces Opening of a New League in Sewell, NJ
Overland Park, KS, April 17, 2008 Super F League, the fastest growing futsal organization in the country, has added a new league. The Super F League – SJ Elite, will begin operations in the South Jersey area. Don D’Ambra is directing the league and plans on a winter futsal league starting in December.
Don D’Ambra has been playing/coaching at the professional level (indoor/outdoor) for 14 years. He has been a member of the Men’s US Futsal Team for 7 years and has competed in several International competitions. Don D’Ambra has newly formed a soccer academy called SJ Elite (www.sjelite.com) and is excited to add Futsal to the training curriculum of many players in the South Jersey area. “I am excited to be able to bring Futsal to the South Jersey area. I have been working with youths for many years and I am committed to the development of their technical and tactical skills. Adding Futsal training will enhance our program developmentally. The Super F organization has been great! The support they have provided will allow me to bring futsal to more kids in the area.”
